Havana Brothers

What’s with the three eyed character you ask? The Havana Brothers brand is based on story of the Guerrero brothers of Las Tunas. Legend has it that during a full moon on the 8th of May 1811 in Las Tunas, twin brothers Cedro and Eudendro Guerrero were born. The local villagers saw their arrival as a miracle and their fame soon spread. Although joined at the head, the brothers managed to lead separate and successful lives, eventually inheriting the family business. Surprisingly, it wasn’t their unusual looks, but their gift for baking that made them their fortune. After a lengthy courtship they married two local senoritas with whom they shared 14 children. Their recipes still remain a family secret. The brothers lived to a combined age of 152 and the state funeral drew thousands of mourners from across the island. Today, their passion for life, liberty and fine baking live on, with just a pinch of salt.
